Bio
I am a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine who has worked at Isokinetic London, since 2015. Alongside this I have worked in professional football in the UK for over 6 seasons, as club doctor with Charlton Athletic Football Club and Leyton Orient Football Club.
I have a wealth of experience in managing sports injuries, in both elite and non-elite athletes and specialise in non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions. I am passionate about using exercise as a treatment to recover from musculoskeletal injury and medical conditions. I have worked closely with our Head of International to develop strong relationships for international patients visiting London.
I am qualified in the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound and I have also undergone further training in biomechanics and kinetic assessment. Supporting patients through being active is a method I promote in their recovery.
I graduated in Medicine in 2007 from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and underwent training in General Practice. I moved to London in 2013 and completed a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health from University College London in 2015. Subsequently I have been awarded a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) in Sport and Exercise Medicine and I am fellow of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine.
I am the clinical supervisor for Sport and Exercise Medicine trainees at Isokinetic London.

Testimonials
“Dr Chris Jones was professional, friendly and kind. After going through a knee injury, and seeing several consultants that couldn’t directly diagnose my injury. Dr Jones assessed my situation and explained how he was going to identify the injury and the process that would take place. My injury was complicated and took time to identify the root cause. During this process Dr Jones was reassuring. He had very good communication and gave continuous updates.”
“Dr Jones is truly committed to providing the patient with the best possible rehabilitation plan. He carefully listens to the patient, tailoring the process to ensure a fully recovery.”
“Dr Jones was very professional, approachable and informative. He was able to answer all my questions regarding my post surgery rehabilitation. He is able to draw upon a range of research – evidence based data to support his programme and uses a mixture of quantitative and qualitative data to inform planning next stages of recovery.”
“Dr Jones demonstrates total patient care and works in the best interests of the patient. He is inquisitive, kind, gentle, and is a true advocate for the best patient therapy to move beyond what is acceptable or “good enough”.
